PATH=%PATH%;\OMAXPLUS\PROGS;
-
If
there are existing lines of code which do not include any
mention of \OMAXPLUS\PROGS then move down to the first
empty space below the bottom of the last code line and
enter the same command regarding the PATH as above.

To
exit the Edit utility strike the ALT F key..

Select
SAVE and then ALT F again and this time choose EXIT.

For
Windows type EXIT (Enter) at the C:\> prompt, and then
restart the Computer before carrying on with Optimax. For

PROBLEM:
If you are an Optimax Plus user
under MS Windows, either as a single user or on a network, and
an error stating "permission denied " or error 72
occurs then it is probable that you have "opened"
the Optimax " twice" , or more times, on your
computer.
REMEDY:
Exit the Optimax and return
to the Desk Top Screen. If you find that the Grey border line
at the bottom where the START command is contains a LOGO
button then point at it and Right click with your mouse and
select close. If there are any others left then close them as
well. To permanently prevent recurrence of this problem go to
the Desk Top and Right click on the Optimax ICON and choose
properties , then Screen, and then deselect the Screen
Saver On . Apply and Exit and the problem should permanently
disappear.

PROBLEM:
When I do an invoice for a medical aid
file although I have put in the maximums payable by the
medical aid for the test it is still putting in the full
amount of the test and not only the R100 the medical aid
will pay.
REMEDY:
Go to utilities to Medical Aid file maintenance and call up
the medical aid in question. Check what values you have under
a/m (appliance maximum) and o/m
(overall
maximum) if you have put a value under o/m it will overwrite
everything above as this means that this is the total amount
the med aid will pay regardless of how it is made up
