Optimax Windows Update Version 1.3.93

Where more than one Computer is used, as part of a Network in the practice, please ensure that the update is done on the server. All the other workstations must be logged out of Optimax. Failure to follow this instruction will result in very serious data problems occurring. .

You are granted the right to install the update on your own computer/computers subject to the limitations of the copy protection software. This update is for your practice only. You shall not permit any other person to use this update and Optimax does not hold itself responsible for any software corruption if used by an illegal user.

Enhancements in this Update:

1) Export to Pastel – you may now export your financial data directly into Pastel.
2) Import from Pastel – you may import stock loaded in Pastel directly into Optimax.
3) Nappi codes when used will be included in the QEDI claims & printed on the paper claims.
4) PPN Lab number – the Laboratory’s PPN reference number plus the generated Lab Order number. 
5) Appointment book – now caters for appointments with 5 minute intervals. 
6) Creation of List of Favourites – create your own list of regularly used lens codes.
7) Report of clients with Cell numbers or e-mail addresses.
8) Daily report for Lab orders done.
9) Label printing by Category .
10) SMS – auto removal of funny characters and checking Cell number length to ensure 10 digit length.
11) Reports – extensive enhancements to sales and stock reports.
12) Stock Control Reconciliation report – stock movements for the month (purchases and sales)
13) Addition of 2 new glass lenses and 103 Plastic lenses ( no prices have been published by the SAOA)
14) Quick Stock load function – enter the stock number and press <enter> will load last cost and quantity of one.
15) Age Analysis by receipts only.
Please note – the Imaging/Clinical module is not included in this release as it is an optional module and carries a charge.

· This update also contains the new tariffs for Discovery, MedScheme, PPN & MX Health and a default price file from the Optical Assistant to be used for all other schemes until they provide details.
