Optimax Windows Update Version 1.3.97

Where more than one Computer is used, as part of a Network in the practice, please ensure that the update is done on the server. All the other workstations must be logged out of Optimax. Failure to follow this instruction will result in very serious data problems occurring. .

You are granted the right to install the update on your own computer/computers subject to the limitations of the copy protection software. This update is for your practice only. You shall not permit any other person to use this update and Optimax does not hold itself responsible for any software corruption if used by an illegal user. 
Enhancements relating to this update:

1) Latest Discovery Tariff file.
2) New lens codes and prices from Optical Assistant.
3) Quotes – you can now suppress frame & lens details.
4) Statements – message by date of last receipt and direct all statements to patients.
5) Import facility FOR Healthman Tariff file 
Please note – the Imaging/Clinical module is not included in this release as it is an optional module and carries a charge.

· The update from the web must be saved into the Omaxwin directory as usual.

Healthman Tariff File
We are not allowed to distribute the Healthman Tariff file – this must be purchased directly from Healthman. When doing so please ensure you request the Optimax format. The normal Excel file will not work. Once you have obtained this file it must be saved in your Omaxwin directory. The steps are as follows:
  • Save Healthman file in Omaxwin directory
  • Open Optimax and under “file” go to “Price Updates” and select “ Import Healthman Tariffs”.
  • The import will then take place.
  • You must then link the Medical Schemes using these prices to this file.
  • At time of invoicing, the Price List being used for that Medical Scheme is displayed. To link to the Healthman file, from the Price Files displayed select “Healthman” and click on OK.
  • You will then invoice for that Medical Aid at Healthman prices.
